Tony Yang x Skyla Arts x Xixi Yang

It's Tony Yang and Xixi Yang again! :) Don't be confused, they are not related~! ^^ You can view Xixi's before and after here to refresh your memory. The size for the vertical images are slightly smaller than my normal web size so I had to resize it a bit for the visuals of my blog...so again apologies for the fuzziness!! For the rest of my "favs" from the set, check them out in my Makeup for Photoshoots gallery! :) Enjoy!

Oh my golly gosh. You're talented. I stumbled across your blog while surfing through Miss Tiffany's blog and I'm glad I did. My aunt claims to be a makeup artist, but she never listens to her clients and all of them end up looking like washed out prostitutes. I mean, I looked at your portfolio and a lot of your clients are really pretty to begin with, but I like how you make them look so flawless. What I really REALLY liked is how you do makeup on Asians. One of the worse things I've seen other makeup artists do is make us look really dull and unnatural like plastering the most yellow gunk they can find. You don't do that and I think it's amazing how you make all of those imperfections disappear. I really want to learn from you. You really know what you're doing. I hope you continue to update your blog. Thanks for existing in this world.

Hi Louzee, thank you so so much for your kind and touching words! It really made my day~~! it's been a little rough finding clients lately, so I was feeling a little down... But all I can do is try my best! Thanks for stopping by and I hope to hear from you again!! :)

Don't be down. I work at a small business and I totally understand your frustration. We don't get steady paychecks and we never know when we'll get paid again. The only thing we can do is stay positive and keep busy and up to date with the latest news on our respective markets. Our business is custom machining and precision fabrication. We do a lot of race car parts which makes a lot of money, but business has been slow since people prefer to eat than make their car fast LOL It's alright though, as long as we stay above water, we're fine. Besides, you're educated. If all else fails, at least you have something to fall back into. Have you tried doing makeup for theater? Or doing children's face painting in carnivals or parties? It's definitely not glamour, but they're options, right? LOL I dunno, just suggestions from a noob. I think you need more exposure in this online beauty world. Didn't hurt MakeupbyRenRen any. I know you mentioned that it's a challenge for you to do videos. I actually prefer reading blogs. Well, I'll definitely get the word out to any of my future subscribers. You're such a talent and your clients have only the nicest things to say about you. Keep posting!

Thanks Louzee, for more encouraging words! Although I have to say MakeupbyRenRen has an advantage over me because her family began the airbrushing company, Temptu, and she's an expert in airbrushing! But I'm trying to be cheerful and I just have to put myself out there! btw, you can also visit my personal blog, http://reveriepapillon1986.blogspot.com, where I talk about some other random stuff! I'll post more makeup related stuff here when my official website is done! Until then, thank you so much for your support! it means a lot to me!!!!!

Phssssttt. That's all I'm going to say. My momma always said, if I don't have anything nice to say about someone, I shouldn't say anything at all. I wouldn't call her an expert at airbrushing. I know local artists here in Houston who can do real amazing work with airbrushing. I want to get into in myself. I'll check out your personal blog and subscribe to it. I believe in your talent.

I've never heard of Ren's family starting Temptu. I know she uses a Graftobian airbrush system.
